Welcome to Hanoi’s cosiest travel backpacker hostel
Our dorm rooms are clean, tidy with spacious bathroom.
It comes with shoe shelves, a Big window, mirror, bag rack and locker for your valuables!
We have Deluxe Double/Twin Bed City View or Suite with Balcony and Family room with good quality, clean and private bathroom.
It was a comfortable environment with a nice common area for you to meet other travellers. It was affordable, staff can spoke clear English and I received great customer service. Rezma was fantastic. She took a few of us on a walking tour to show us some good places. I also got sick near the end of my trip and she made sure I was okay. The beds were comfortable and the lockers were nice and spacious. The bathrooms were always clean. I would definitely recommend this hostel!Arriane L
I had the best experience staying at See You At Lily’s in Hanoi. They helped me book my buses, trips, and helped me with anything else that I needed while in Viet Nam. The artwork all throughout was beautiful, funky, and fun. The hostel is very clean, great bathroom and shower with hot water! Great location too- easy to walk out and grab great street food. They made my travels a lot easier and they recommended amazing places to see and visit- you have to do the SaPa 2night home stay with Mao. The BEST experience I’ve had so far. Stew was so helpful with planning my trips!!Marisol J
The best I ever had
As the great Drake (Canadian rapper rather the English explorer who died of dysentery) would no doubt conclude, See You At Lily’s is the best Hanoi hostel experience ever had.
Slap bang in the middle of backpacker alley – like pants street and shoe lane, but for backpackers – See You At Lily’s is undoubtedly the finest establishment i’ve ever stayed in that is co-owned by a former Big 4 management accountant who saw the light and a 20-year old who has all the characteristics of one of those freakily clever kids that come up on Countdown aged 12 or something and end up destroying a 68 year old Oxbridge professor apart from ever being on Countdown.
With its mix of travellers and locals, both in ownership and staff, it hits that sweet spot where you have enough local knowledge and authenticity to feel like your actually in the country while also enough at home and with enough travellers to very quickly find a bunch of people to head out to the Bia Hoi with.
The basics are solid, comfy beds, good sized rooms, and an always stocked barAdvice and prices on tours is great, but of particular value is their ability to cater for somebody with little in the way of plan. I turned up wanting the moon on a stick – Ha Long Bay style scenery but without the tourists – and ended up with a three day motorbike tour where I saw some absolutely staggering sights, met some of the warmest and friendliest people who put me up and served me amazing food, and saw only two other tourists over 550km, all made possible through the hostel’s attention and connections to the best tours on offer.
Stu, Rez, Lily….thank you.Hobart
